Cardiovascular disease is the number one silent killer globally. Nepal is no exception to this and is witnessing rising number of cardiac patients or at risk of acquiring it.

Every year the number of cardiac patients approaching JMT is alarming. It becomes difficult for JMT to embrace all given the constraint of its core budget. Thus, it strives to raise additional funds to embrace more needy patients which otherwise would not have been possible. Every 14th of February or close to this time, JMT organises its Annual Fundraiser. All proceeds raised are utilized in sponsoring treatment of indigent cardiac patients.
