The purpose of JMT’s outreach programs are to take cardiac care closer to the doorsteps of people who are unable to avail these services due to financial, health and travel constraints. Hence, on 1st April 2022, the trust along with the technical team of MCVTC, in coordination with Lions Club of Subha Aarambha and Kiwanis Club of Health Nepal conducted a free cardiac camp at Tanglichowk, Gorkha. During the 2 days outreach camp, a total of 560 people were screened where ECG was performed on 185 patients where as ECHO was performed on 171 patients. 7 patients were referred to Kathmandu for their further diagnosis and treatment.
