JMT has borne witness to significant rise in the number of cardiac patients in Nepal. Cardiovascular disease is no longer a "RICH MAN's DISEASE". More so it is largely engulfing people from the lower middle class to lower class bracket of the society. Yet...

Early Identification of Cardiac Cases

Early Identification of Cardiac Cases

The government of Nepal provides free cardiac treatment to children below the age of 15 years. However not many know about it nor get properly diagnosed at the earliest stage. Therefore, JMT has initiated a program to start educating the children and youth about this silent killer. JMT Annual Fundraiser

JMT Annual Fundraiser

Cardiovascular disease is the number one silent killer globally. Nepal is no exception to this and is witnessing rising number of cardiac patients or at risk of acquiring it. Every year the number of cardiac patients approaching JMT is alarming. It becomes difficult for JMT to embrace all given the constraint of its core budget. Thus, it strives to raise additional funds to embrace more needy patients which otherwise would not have been possible. Every 14th of February or close to this time, JMT organises its Annual Fundraiser. All proceeds raised are utilized in sponsoring treatment of indigent cardiac patients.
