For people living with heart disease, Covid-19 has presented multiple challenges. Many have been afraid to attend routine and doctor consultations and have become isolated from friends and family. Hence, in order to make cardiac care accessible to the unprivileged areas, Jayanti Memorial Trust along with the technical team of MCVTC, in coordination with Save The Heart and Manthali Municipality conducted a free cardiac camp at Manthali, Ramechap on 16th June and 17th June 2022. During the 2 days outreach camp, a total of 1710 people were screened where ECG was performed on 1067 patients where as ECHO was performed on 681 patients. 27 patients were referred to Kathmandu for their further diagnosis and treatment. Free medicines were distributed by Lomus and Magnus Pharmaceuticals to 2200 people.
