In view of very limited data available on clinical, therapeutic and clinical cardiology in the country, JMT has initiate Research on the same. It has set a JMT Research Grant and according to the need calls for research work. Currently it has funded 3 research as following:

1. Community-based intervention for blood pressure reduction in Nepal: a community-based cluster randomized controlled trial.
2. Status of and barriers to awareness, treatment and control of hypertension in rural communities of Kathmandu, Nepal.
3. Barriers to Dietary Salt Reduction among Hypertensive Patients.

 It will share the content publicly once all research concludes.
