With a total of 45 physicians the conference was moderated by JMT’s Board Member Prof. Dr. Bhagawan Koirala. The conference was held in Pokhara Grande on the 2nd of December from 6-8pm. Inorder to promote the government institutions and hold JMT responsible for the conduct of the conference, the Trust decided to partner with the Pokhara Acedemy of Health Sciences (PAHS). Therefore giving much importance to PAHS it was their responsibility to invite physicians/doctors/surgeons/final year interns for this education program.
JMT has a good relation with PAHS and through this conference; we were able to strengthen our connection with them. Therefore the idea of having a government body as one of the organizers was effective in terms of gathering participants. The conference was then followed by dinner where the participants would get hold of a better chance to interact with the presenters.
