CME for Nurses in Pokhara

In the past two years, we had organized two education programs (Nurses and Physicians), but due to the requests received from the multiple hospitals in Pokhara; JMT was compelled to request the Dr. Frederick Grover from the University of Colorado to accommodate a 2nd nursing education in Pokhara amongst their busy schedule. JMT was more than delighted when the request was accepted by the experts. Therefore both the conferences in Pokhara (Nurses and Physicians) ran simultaneously on the 2nd of December at Pokhara Grande.

Total number of participants for the nurses education was 125 when the expected number of participants were 90. This particular conference had its own charm. While the topics remained the same, the presenters modified their talk according to the skill and level of the participants. This enabled the nurses to grasp the knowledge better and the presenters received questions/doubts from the participants. The atmosphere was electric as the conference was not as formal and the nurses enjoyed learning.
