Being actively involved in combating all forms of cardiac illness in Nepal, the Trust has set a tradition of marking The World Heart Day in line with the campaign theme, announced by The World Heart Federation with various programs and events. This year, the Trust in collaboration with Heart Net and Norvic International Hospital campaigned for prevention of heart diseases amongst women and children with a program organized at the City Hall and Hotel Annapurna in the capital, Kathmandu. The Trust was also a co-sponsor for a similar program organized in Pokhara by Heart to Heart. JMT was handed over the torch by the Help for Heart Surgery to coordinated programs and events in Nepal for the following year, for World Heart Day 2013.
