 Love is commonly associated with the symbol of a heart. How appropriate then on the day the love is celebrated universally, we are also remembering the importance of a healthy heart. After all, we owe it to a hollow muscle- one of the most vital human organs- to keep us healthy and of course in love!

This alone was not the purpose behind the 14th of Feb, 2013’s event organized at Hotel Annapurna. The Trust hoped to raise funds to help the alarming number of indigent cardiac patients from the camps conducted by Jayanti Memorial Trust this year. Our major sponsor and partner in this noble cause was QATAR Airways, who generously donated the Trust NRS. 2, 15,000 as a part of their, Corporate Social Responsibility. The felt need to render support to needy indigent people, by an international 5 star airlines, here in Nepal should open and awaken the hearts of many capable corporate houses and individuals within the country to follow their steps, to realize that each individual needs has worth and with little help from the able ones can pursue a meaningful and a healthy life. Regardless of boundaries and boarder, the approach that QATAR Airways has taken in contributing to the social cause such as rendering aid to less fortunate cardiac patients in Nepal speaks of its Corporate Social Responsibility in leaps and bounds. The Trust commits to ensure the proper utilization of the funds received from QATAR Airways.

Hotel Annapurna cannot be left out in this regard as they were the main partner and co organizer for this event. Hotel Annapurna has been actively involved in charitable work and has been actively allocating their CSR budget to genuine sectors within the country that need aid. Jayanti Memorial Trust was handed over a cheque of NRS. 2,15,000 to the Trust as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility.

The Trust hopes and believes that with successful corporate houses the likes of QATAR Airways and Hotel Annapurna collaborating with Jayanti Memorial Trust in a noble cause, will inspire more corporate houses within the country and abroad to allocate their resources to genuine and transparent organization working to aid less fortunate people.
